Wovyn began at home as a hobby while I was pregnant with my daughter.

What started as a creative outlet soon became something more — a collection of handmade bags shaped by a love of texture, thoughtful design and the satisfaction of creating something from nothing.

Wovyn is a celebration of the handmade, but with a modern perspective. Pieces designed to feel considered, individual and effortless enough to become part of everyday life.

Every bag is made slowly and intentionally, allowing the character of the materials and the hands that make them to become part of the design.

Because we believe the things we carry should feel as individual as the people carrying them.

The Materials

Every Wovyn bag is made using reclaimed T-shirt yarn, giving existing textile materials a new life in a completely different form.

The yarn is typically made from around 80–90% cotton blended with elastane, which gives each bag its soft, substantial feel while still allowing for a little flexibility and movement.

Because the yarn is reclaimed, slight variations in colour, texture and thickness are part of what makes each piece unique. Rather than being imperfections, they’re part of the character of the finished bag — a reminder that every Wovyn piece is made by hand and no two are exactly the same.
